Yes, our PopYum bottles are TSA approved! We recommend loading the bottle with formula pre-TSA check and then after the TSA check adding water to it. Invented by parents who know the pain of cleaning a mountain of bottle parts, PopYum is made of only 5 easy-to-clean parts! That’s up to 40% fewer parts compared to other similar bottles. Fewer parts save A LOT of cleaning time over the lifespan of the bottle. As well, the wide bottle design makes it easier to clean the bottle. 

No! The wide bottle design means you can rinse out the bottle by reaching into it with your hand using a regular sponge. Recent studies have found that narrow-mouth bottles harbor much greater amounts of bacteria, since it's much harder to clean them. 

All parts are top rack dishwasher safe. 

You can sterilize PopYum bottles using the same methods as regular baby bottles: steam cleaning, boiling water, or sterilizing tablets.

PopYum bottles accept all powder formula brands!

Formula stays dry and lasts until you need to mix it with the water in the bottle! When storing PopYum bottles for extended periods of time, we recommend following your formula manufacture’s recommendations. Many formula manufactures reference that the formula will last 30 days (before mixing with water) after the formula container is opened. 

Yes! In fact, since the breast milk is completely sealed from the nipple and anti-colic vent (the most common bottle leak points) when the agitator is inserted, the bottle will not leak! We recommend parents follow standard CDC recommendations for the safe storage of breast milk in PopYum bottles. (https://www.cdc.gov/breastfeeding/recommendations/handling_breastmilk.htm)

No! The agitator is designed to stay in the bottle to help mix the water and formula, without clumping, in a few shakes. 

No! The agitator is prevented from getting close to the nipple. It helps mix the formula, then just floats in the bottle, away from the nipple.

When warming formula, it is NOT recommended to place PopYum bottles in the microwave as this can impact the quality of the formula nutrients and create liquid hot spots which may be too hot for baby.

Formula makers recommend that formula be consumed within an hour of mixing, unless it is refrigerated. About town, you need to carry around a heavy cooler bag to keep the formula chilled, then worry about it spoiling as the day progresses. At feeding time your child often gets cold stale formula with reduced nutritional content. You save valuable baby bag space and weight with PopYum. But above all, you eliminate the constant worry of feeding spoiled formula to your child.  

PopYum is the only bottle of its kind that comes with a funnel. When loading the bottle with formula, the included funnel keeps the formula from spilling into the area that holds water, thereby eliminating possible contamination. 

We have no idea why other bottles, similar to PopYum, would not include a funnel. We view the health risks, related to water contamination, of not including a funnel as being very high. 

Yes! It has an advanced anti-colic vent which returns air into the bottle, not your baby's tummy. 

PopYum bottles store water and dry powder formula separately inside the bottle. PopYum makes fresh formula when baby is hungry and the fresh nutrient rich formula is then consumed immediately. Harmful bacterial blooms need time in order to reproduce to a level to be harmful to babies. PopYum bottles eliminate the risk of bacterial bloom growth since the formula is consumed immediately after being made (unlike traditional bottles where formula often sits for hours). To ensure safe use, always use the included funnel. When storing PopYum bottles for extended periods of time, we recommend following your formula manufacture’s recommendations (30 days max.). Do not store loaded PopYum bottles in the fridge.

Powdered formula is not sterile. The CDC recommends that babies under two months of age, babies born prematurely and not yet two months past their expected due date, and babies who have a compromised immune system should only be given concentrated liquid or ready-to-serve formula. As always talk to your pediatrician about any feeding concerns.

PopYum nipples feature a new wide nipple design and natural latch which support a smooth transition from breast to bottle.

Unfortunately, it is not. The enlarged nipple design holds the powder formula. Due to its large shape and size only PopYum nipples are compatible with PopYum bottles. 

5 oz. Bottles: come with a Stage 1 slow flow nipple (newborns+) 

9 oz. Bottles: come with a Stage 2 medium flow nipple (3 months+)
