Say hello to our new PopYum SuperStar Yerandi from Florida! Yerandi, who caught our eye on Instagram with her amazing stories and posts of her life as a wife and boy mom, shares her adorable adventures with her son Oliver! Yerandi is also studying to be a PA and is currently working as a full time epidemiologist. 

PopYum Superstars features our wonderful PopYum moms and dads who love to share the joy of PopYum with other babies and parents! We love to meet all of you wonderful PopYum family and friends. It always brings a smile to our face seeing the joys of feeding and to be a part of your baby’s life.

PopYum is very excited to have Yerandi R. as our seventh PopYum Superstar joining us! We got the wonderful chance to talk with Yerandi to learn more about her amazing journey as a proud boy mama.

PopYum: How did you feel the day you became a mom for the first time?

Yerandi: Completely in love and blessed.

PopYum: How did you discover PopYum?

Yerandi: Amazon and TikTok!

PopYum: What tips would you give to a first-time parent that you wish you knew when you had your first baby?

Yerandi: Don't freak yourself out with anything- just enjoy the process.

PopYum: What do you think is the most challenging part of being a mom?

Yerandi: Doing enough- I do so much for my baby, but I always feel like there is more I could be doing. There is just no time!

PopYum: What’s your favorite thing about PopYum?

Yerandi: The convenience!

PopYum: What is your favorite part about becoming a mom?

Yerandi: Everything honestly. I love seeing the love my baby looks at me with, melts my heart!

PopYum: Tell us about your baby!

Yerandi: My cute little Oli is currently 5 months old. He loves playing with mommy and daddy and is obsessed with his hands currently. Little bubby loves to eat! He has grown so big and strong after being in the NICU as a preemie. 

PopYum: Tell us about you!

Yerandi: I’m a loving mommy and wife studying to get into PA school and full-time Epidemiologist.

PopYum: What do you like to do for fun?

Yerandi: I like to hang out with my son and husband, explore new food places, learn how to work out efficiently, and go to the beach.

PopYum: How do you find ‘me-time’ while raising your kids?

Yerandi: Whoever has the answer to this please tell me!

PopYum: Do you have anything else about yourself, your family, your kids, or anything else that you’d like to share with PopYum friends and family?

Yerandi: We adore PopYum. We like to go out and have our baby explore life and PopYum allows us to do that without the craziness. I was unable to breastfeed and was exclusively pumping for 3 months, but it was very difficult. I needed to leave the house to feel somewhat normal after pregnancy and it was very hard having to take the breast milk, a cooler for the milk, a bottle warmer or hot water to warm it up, and temperature to make sure it was okay. It was just TOO much on my mental health. When I decided to switch over to only formula it was still a hassle having to take multiple bottles plus the huge formula can. PopYum has cut our stress down so much and we are able to go out as a family and actually enjoy our time instead of stressing over every detail.

PopYum: Do you have any “mom hacks” or cool tips or tricks you’d like to share with the rest of PopYum Nation? 

Yerandi: To use PopYum honestly! Best time saver. I also don't have a dishwasher at home so we bought a portable one which has been a huge timesaver as well! I no longer spend hours cleaning and sanitizing all of his things. It has been worth every penny.
